Thanks Steve, yes it's for beef, used to be dairy but only doing 1 silage cut a year. 2nd goes for hay. Thankfully still plenty leaf on it so some quality but it is lower. Getting quite dry here now, warm temperatures this week and following week.

@@TechnoMoffat Dry, we have loads of ruts and to soft for cattle out been horrendous heavy rain, on clay has no were to go, different world, cheers .🤔

This was mown about 2 weeks ago. Yes it had gone to head but still had some life in it with leaf in the bottom and still quite green in the swath. Not as young as some grass but it went to head very quickly and early.
